Finally. I know this diary is a bit late, but I just finally finished photoshopping some pictures to enhance the appearance of a huge rally in St. Louis today.
Won't do much talking, save for explaining that obviously, most of these people are not real. Couldn't be. No way that 100,000 people in "real america" would show up to watch a bunch of socialsts jackboot themselves around for 2 hours.
In all seriousness, I was so incredibly proud to be from St. Louis and to support Obama on a beautiful fall day under the arch. The excitement in the air was just like postseason baseball, with downtown swimming with people, everyone buzzing. There were like 10 abortion protesters, and that was about all the opposition could muster. The real reason that this rally and its crowds, numbers, etc. have been attacked with accusations of photoshopping is because the right is scared shitless. Think about this little fact:
Between his two rallies, Barack Obama spoke directly, in person, to 3.5% of the residents of the state of Missouri today.
