Watching Larry King tonight and got an early glimpse at what appears to be the right wing talking point for defending the Sarah Palin pick...
Carville and Nancy Pfotenhauer (random McCain hack) were on Larry King tonight debating the logic behind making this VP pick, and Larry King asked Carville if she was the most qualified Republican to be Vice President. Carville laughed, and said of course not, and then articulated the obvious: she has no foreign policy experience whatsoever.
Pfotenhauer immediately went into faux outrage mode, saying that was disrespectful and dismissive of Governor Palin's experience and, "frankly, women are tired of it."
So clearly, the strategy behind the pick is to court "disaffected" women voters, leaning back on the tired disrespect meme from the primary season...
How ironic it is then, that the wingers are going to, at least in part, rely on the claim of prejudice or slight against her because she is a woman, while at the same time pound Obama with the race-baiting complaints that anyone who opposes Obama is a "racist"...apparently anyone who opposes the McCain ticket is now a sexist?
It gets better...
Wouldntcha know...here is video of said Republican hack...SCOFFING at Rachel Maddow last November for making the suggestion that Hillary was the victim of sexism...priceless
Anyone who has video of Carville and Hackette on Larry King tonight I would love to have her B-movie level indignation to pair with this gleeful stomp on the sexism charge...
